Officially A Soccer Mom!

Micah and his friend, Maggie had their first night of soccer. Although it was actually cancelled due to some rain, they had no idea and still enjoyed themselves.

How neat that they are both, "#9"! I don't think wrestling the coach will happen each week, Maggie and Micah!

Happy Mother's Day ... to Me!!

What a day!! We woke up at 5:00 a.m. to be in Mississauga for my 7:30 a.m. marathon start. Jonathan was great at tracking the course, and with the boys, saw me at the start, twice on the course and at the finish. I was so thrilled with my personal best time of 2:51 AND first place female finish. Results are at http://sportstats.ca/ and an article at

Springing Up

Let it begin - outside meals are fun for the kids and less mess for mom!!

Seth is getting so big. Don't his legs look so long? In many ways, he looks like a DuChene (his Auntie Jennie as a baby, his Uncle Andrew/Grampa Pete/cousin Peyton's eyes, etc.) but I think the long legs are Lehrbass legs!
