Chariot Carriers

Much has happened since my win at the Mississauga Marathon in May. Most recently, we received a double bike/run stroller. Wow, what a thrill! We even got it in Micah's favourite colour!
Thank you, Chariot. We will put a lot of miles on this, particularly as I train for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in September!

Daddy's Day

Micah and Seth REALLY love their daddy. I am so glad that he loves us, takes care of us, and puts God first in everything.

Jonathan and David enjoyed a father's day bike ride out to Scott and Sara's for our small group barbeque.

Micah was quite disappointed that he couldn't go along on this ride. He thought Mr. Tuttle's shoes were neat though. When we drove by in the van with Margaret, he was really cheering them on.

More soup can hockey. Seth is quite the helper, getting the "pucks" for Micah.

Daddy, You're the Best.

When daddy is home, everyone is happy.

Back to the Safari

On Friday, we had a big BCC (Brant Community Church) gang at the African Lion Safari (5 moms and 9 kids). My great friend Dina and I, w/ our 4 boys, really enjoyed ourselves. Can't wait to go back. Those season passes are great!

Just had to take this picture. Dina asked, are they black with white stripes or white with black stripes...hmmmm? Either way, God has really created some amazing looking animals.

Here, Livvy, Colton and Micah are acting out the elephant show. Livvy is the trainer w/ the mouse that is supposed to wake up the 'sleeping' elephants. You'll have to go to the show to see if it really happens!
I think this is how we'll end many days this summer! Go Go Go .... Crash!

June Joys

Gotta love the backyard pool when we can't get over to the Kettlewell pool.
Our darling boys - what a blessing.

Grampa enjoying some time with Micah's "MoMo" and "Uncle Lloyd Dog" dogs.

Three cheers for the hockey players.

Thanks for the matching t-shirts, Karen.

GO WILD...AFRICAN LION SAFARI

We have REALLY enjoyed ourselves at the African Lion Safari over the past few years. There is so much to do and it's only a 25 minute drive. Last week we opened and closed the park with our DDD gang (Dureno, Duynhoven, DuChene)! It was Seth's first time - you can tell by the video that he really enjoyed himself.

Step 1 - animal tour, lunch and elephant bath
This could be a post card, don't you think?

Seth just loved it. Livvy was so sweet with him.

Step 3 - elephant show and play area
It was an action-packed day for Seth ...

Step 4 - ice cream and train ride (you can see that the ice cream was first!).

Sweeties.

Ice cream treat (it helped Micah's forehead after he fell on the bench at the elephant show).

Micah and Jacob head to the vans. We'll be back!

A bit of this n' that

Go, Micah!

These 3 youngsters did a great job putting this alphabet tower together.
