March 29 Seth Peter DuChene turns 1!

Seth is 1 !

Seth enjoys time with Grammy while playing with one of his new birthday gifts.
Happy Birthday to you, Seth!

Coach Jim and hockey player Brayden return from their big game as champions! Way to go, boys! Jonathan gets Micah ready for some fun outside. It was a beautiful afternoon.

March 27 - Aunt Joyce's birthday.
March 28 - Cousin Avery's birthday.
March 29 - Seth's birthday.

Our sweet boy. Hope you had a great day, Seth!

Happy First Birthday, Seth!

Seth seemed to enjoy his birthday cake, don't you think?

We went with a puppy dog theme because of Seth's interest in our dog, Moses and the cute little barking sound he makes when he sees dogs.

Cupcakes with dogs. They were a hit!

March 29/09 - Seth turns "1" and mommy runs the Around the Bay 30 km race in Hamilton.

I was thrilled to see my boys right at the finish, cheering me on! They are such a motivation for me. Thanks, Jonathan and Uncle Andrew for helping out.

Spring Tour 2009

Micah's skating has really come along way. He no longer needs a pusher and is ready for a stick and puck! We really enjoyed the toddler-parent skates in Brantford and Paris this season (October - March). It's hard to believe how quickly kids learn.
Here's the link that shows the first time he was on ice with skates:

Janna and I enjoyed another great spring tour to Lambton County with the kids. Here are some past posts:

Auntie Janna and Auntie Joyce show Seth some of the farm animals.

Auntie Beth gives a cookie to each kid. She always has yummy, homemade cookies.

March 16. Happy Birthday, Jonathan. Thanks for the tiramisu, Dina! Made for a great birthday cake. And don't worry, Jonathan got his corn casserole again this year.

Marching Along

Seth is nearing his first birthday. How time flies.
Micah had his first dentist appointment. Auntie Sondra cleaned his teeth. Of course, getting a new toothbrush was a thrill.

Daddy took the boys for a run...both fell asleep.

We've enjoyed the nicer weather.

Micah gets to practise his hockey skills.

This One's For You, Cayman Cousins!

This one is for you, Uncle Stefan, Aunt Wendi and boys! Thanks for the Cayman t's.

Just what you want - a boy who is happy after his nap.
I think this is such a sweet smile - so genuine.

Micah ready to go to his first "official" birthday party!

Although daddy is much better at these things, I will get on the floor with the boys too!

Although most of our family is near, some aren't so close. So, here's a video for you, Uncle Stefan, Auntie Wendi, Carter and Peyton! (sorry about the nose-picking at the end...and I made sure Seth didn't fall off the couch!)
