Winter Activity

Ever since we took Avery to her hockey game, Micah has talked a lot about, and really enjoyed hockey (playing with others' equipment/sticks/pucks, going skating in Chatham, and seeing it in books). Here he is in Brayden and Avery's hand-me-down hockey equipment. Thanks, Jim and Sondra!
We enjoyed being outside to play in and shovel snow.

December - Christmas is Coming!

One of the many crafts Micah made at the Gretzky Centre with Maureen and Jeanetta (a.k.a. "Morning and Netta").
We decided to go with an artificial tree this year. It proved to be a good idea the next day when Micah pulled it down!
Micah did a great job decorating the tree.
Mary and Janna open the "Aunt Krista" doll from Micah at the Lehrbass Christmas. Thanks for hosting, Franz and Aimee.

Playing with his dinosaurs.
Helping daddy drill (too bad it was to install a safety latch!).
Congratulations on your engagement, Chantale and Kevin!

What will the day bring?

While mommy and daddy dozed in bed, Micah was busy doing other things!
He is into EVERYTHING, as he should be!

Fall - Playtime, Leaves, and Hockey

Micah and his cousins enjoy a car-ride at Bingemans' Funworx in Kitchener.
We are so glad Karen invited us. Micah and Victor had a great time.
Micah introduced himself to Justin.

Fall - Playtime, Leaves, and Hockey

After a thrilling evening of watching Avery play hockey (including time in the dressing room with all the other hockey players!), Micah enjoyed a nice bath and bedtime story.
Chasing leaves.
Time with mommy.
They look so adorable when they are sleeping, don't they? However...

...they aren't so cute when they pull hair, hit, bite, etc. SO frustrating!

A Panda Bear and a Skeleton?!

Well, here's Micah after his second Halloween. I made the mistake of putting a black nose on him - it ended up smeared all over his face and on one of our living room chairs. He's a bit tired (as you can see) but now knows two new words: "candy" and "chips"! He's really talking a lot. When asked where his daddy is, he will say, "Daddy working hammer". He will also sometimes inform me, "I don't want that".
Here's Micah last year, as a Bumble Bee. How time flies!
Now for the skeleton (the ultrasound tech printed the one on the left especially for Halloween). Isn't he/she adorable! We are so thrilled to be having another baby. I am 20 weeks now and feeling much better. Here's Micah with his Lehrbass cousins. Hopefully Mary will get a girl cousin in December and/or March!
Jonathan has been working on a bed for Franz and Aimee. It looks so great, doesn't it?

Home Sweet Home

Here's a picture of the front of our house after ... 5 yards of soil, 33 plants, 6200 lbs of rock, 3 yards of mulch, and lots of shoveling, lifting, planting, raking and watering!
We were able to use some of the leftover material for the back.
Jonathan's dad also helped us finish painting the shed.
Here's Micah, giving us a hand.
Micah sure loves being with his daddy.

Big Brother ...

(not the t.v. show)
That's right. Micah will become a big brother in March!
Here he is putting his baby to bed in what will be his new bedroom.

This is the bedroom set we ordered for Micah. He loves trucks, planes, trains, tractors, etc.

Chatham Weekend

Larissa and Bob - "Just Married"! Isn't she beautiful.
Kim giving us a smile, or was it at Johan?
Boy, did the Perry girls ever have fun together later! It was a great reception.
Aunt Donna and Franz chatting before the ceremony. It was nice to go back to Jonathan's parents before the reception. The Wallaceburg yearbooks were a hit amongst the many grads.
Jonathan and Krista pose for a shot.
Micah spent the day with Grammy and Grandpa. Here he is, helping water the garden.
