Less grass to cut!

Well....after nearly 5 years at this house, our faithful lawnmower finally had more than it could handle. So, we got a shiny new mower to handle the job, but thought, how can we ease the load this new mower has. Well, we have been 'encouraged' by some to plant a garden, so we thought...garden = less grass (and tasty fresh veggies). Thus, a garden lives here now.

The whole family was there but we weren't all working.

The watering department is more than ready to go!
Trying our hand with the power-tools.
So, this is what seeds look like.
This roto-tiller is no problem, my only issue is that these gloves don't fit!

Love the picture of Seth in the wagon! Looks like you guys had fun planting your garden. Amara and I have been trying out our "green thumbs" too, here's to hoping!

Enjoy the veggies!

I was reminded, again, that Micah is the most photogenic toddler ever. Seriously, his pictures could be in magazines . . . as always, great pics!
