Here are a few updated photos of the basement.
Jonathan has been doing a great job. He is now mudding and sanding.
We look forward to the new fireplace and spare room/office.
This area will be the kids' play space (and shelf to hold my laptop and coffee!). Jonathan plans to make a built-in storage bench.

Now for the fun stuff - here's the loveseat that is to be delivered next week with the couch, chair and ottoman.
And thanks to our friend, Natalie, we now have some accessories for the room! She and David have a great help along the way.
Jonathan's parents plan to come Monday to help start painting. If jr decides to make his/her appearance, we already have grammy and grampa here to watch Micah!

I love the couch and the pillows, mirror etc. The colors are great!
I am sure you will all enjoy it lots and hope your little junior can hang on a little while longer until his/her play area is ready. :)
So, the race is on - what will be first - jr's arrival or the finished basement????
It looks awesome - I've loved being able to watch the progress of the room through the stages. You're almost there! Good going, Jonathan and company. oh, and I'm with Sophie - great colour choices. (Forgive her American spelling - hahaha!)
