Things are coming along ...

Micah still has his passion for hockey. His newest thing is walking around the house - with guards on, of course!
Nothing is cuter than watching a son shadow his daddy. Micah brought his tools downstairs to help with the basement. Here they are, getting some work done.

January 9, 2008

Not only did Jonathan make me a great birthday dinner, I got to celebrate the news of Franz and Aimee's new baby boy! We are so pleased and can't wait to meet him. Only about 10 more weeks until our jr arrives!
Micah enjoyed some birthday cake. He went right to the tub after!

He's really chatting a lot these days. He now sings, "Bob, the builder - Can we fix it?" and was counting to nine (but now counts, "1,2,3..7,8,9!").

Jonathan's January Jobs

Jonathan loves projects. He finished Franz and Aimee's bed in early December (we'll post a picture once the bed is assembled). Then, as soon as we got back to Brantford after Christmas he started on Micah's room. The wall-hanging Aunt Janna made is a perfect fit.
It didn't take Jonathan long to get the job done. When Jen W. was here, she was a great help with the border. We have a bit of time to get Micah into his new "big boy" bed before the new baby comes.
Then, after much discussion and planning (consulting w/ our friends, David and Natalie), Jonathan started the basement. Our work plan includes drywall, electrical, painting, new windows, a fireplace makeover, and a new spare room/office.
Jonathan tore the place apart Saturday while Micah and I spent the day w/ Kevin and Chantale and the Cylka Family.
