Micah was quite thrilled to get three ORANGE (his favourite colour, of course) birthday balloons. Within five minutes, we only had one left so we tied it to his chair!
We went with a Bob the Builder/Hockey/Orange theme.

He enjoyed the chocolate cake with a peanut butter marshmallow ice cream and chocolate fudge centre.
When I asked Micah about his favourite thing of the evening, he said it was licking the icing off his puck!
Although I looked forward to this moment - giving Micah tickets to see Bob the Builder with his cousin - it was a bit anticlimactic. He was more interested in the Smarties than the tickets! I think he'll understand a bit better when we actually go, on his birthday.
Micah really enjoys the worship at our church. He especially likes the guitar. Here he is, playing and singing, "How Great Is Our God".
Thanks to our friends, Karen, Victor, and Justin, we had a great time at Bob the Builder on Micah's birthday.
It was a great show.

Micah in March, 2007.
Since Seth's birth, I have been able to slowly wake to the day; usually he was up before Micah so I could feed him while dozing on the couch. But lately, Micah has been up first. He is now into "projects" and "fort-building" and helping himself to the fridge and cupboards. Here is the latest picture - Micah going through each and every ointment and bandaid from our first-aid kit.
I know I will look back some day and miss these moments!
