Happy 5th Birthday, Micah!

(in reverse order)
1. Opening gifts. Lots of Lego (and other things) - what fun!
2. Birthday cake - with a "5" in lego candy, and orange frosting (of course)!
3. Fort-building.
4. Backyard skating.
5. Pizza lunch.
Thanks, Uncle Andrew for helping AND coming to celebrate!

Thanks for a great day, everyone!
When Micah got out of the tub tonight, he asked how long it would be until his next birthday!

Diddle, Diddle, Dumpling ...

Seth

Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John,
Went to bed with his trousers on;
One shoe off, and one shoe on,
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John!

One thing I can say that I am proud of as a mom is the reading I do with my kids. The other day, while driving in the van (where some of the best and worst memories are made), Seth was saying this verse. I asked him if he knew what trousers were. Of course he didn't! But CUTE!

Jan 2011

This is what you get when mom and dad work on the rink in the backyard and the boys go inside!
We could see them through the window - laughing away as they tossed clementine peels at each other!

5 more weeks 'til due date!
